About Us

Why we started

The Prince Dabulamanzi Foundation is a non-profit social organization run by a group of like-minded youth and women who come with experience in different economic sectors. We promote women, youth skills development and provide opportunities.

The Foundation has helped over 5400 disadvantaged children, women and the elderly throughout the years with food parcels, clothing donations, and feeding schemes at local old age homes and disadvantaged communities in Durban.

The Prince Dabulamanzi Foundation is dedicated to the development and protection of children and their families through a focus on improving access to nutrition, health, early learning and development programs.

The continued and attentive vigour in helping under-resourced individuals conquer any challenges that have arisen is truly making a difference, even if it’s one individual at a time.

The Prince Dabulamanzi Foundation founder, Princess Gugu Zulu/Hlatshawayo, wanted to create a culture of caring, being authentic, following passions and desires, and being part of the transformation.

And so ,our non-profit organization has evolved and was formally registered in 2019.
